Imaging data (from Malaria Metabolic Pathways)

Immunofluorescence microscopy of the intracellular distribution of PFGCN20 in P. falciparum (FAC8) infected erythrocytes. Smears of erythrocytic cultures were fixed, permeabilized and probed with AF43 at a dilution of 1:100. Bound AF43 were visualized with anti-rabbit IgG-FITC secondary antibodies. A: Red blood cell infected by single ring-stage parasite. B: Red blood cell infected with three ring-stage parasites. C: Late ring stage. D, E: Trophozoite to early schizont stages. F: Late schizont stage. Bar corresponds to 2.5 mm.Bozdech Z, VanWye J, Haldar K, Schurr E.
