Indirect Immunofluorescence Assay (IFA) was performed using affinity purified anti-PfK2 F4 antibodies. Representative IFAs are shown. PfK2 was not detected in rings (data not shown) or uRBCs, and minimal levels were detected in trophozoites. Schizonts showed intense foci of labeling, which appeared to correspond with the location of the developing merozoites within RBCs.Waller KL, McBride SM, Kim K, McDonald TV.
