Immunofluorescent in situ localization of ubiquitin conjugates in parasites at their ring, trophozoite (TROPH.), or schizont (SCHIZ.) stages. The parasites were visualized under transmitted (trans.) light, their nuclei stained with DAPI (blue), and the ubiquitin-conjugates visualized in the red.
