Imaging data (from Malaria Metabolic Pathways)

Detection and immunolocalisation of HA-tagged PfSulP protein in transfected parasites. (B) and (C), IFA images obtained using transfected parasites fixed and labelled with antibodies. The upper panels (B) show expression and localisation of HA-tagged PfSulP in infected erythrocytes. The lower panels (C) show co-localization of HA-tagged PfSulP with fluorescently labeled PfENT1 (red), a transport protein which resides on the parasite plasma membrane. HA-associated fluorescence and PfENT1-associated fluorescence localized together at the parasite surface (plasma membrane).Henry RI, Martin RE, Howitt SM, Kirk K.
