P. falciparum encodes cytosolic and apicoplast tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase isoforms. The first panel shows live cell fluorescence microscopy of TrpRSapi-GFP and live mitochondrial staining, while the second and third panels show IFAs of P. falciparum TrpRSapi-GFP and TrpRScyt-GFP in relation to the apicoplast marker ACP.
